>Chesapeake City, MD—Trainer George Teague Jr. yesterday confirmed that he is breeding World Champion 2004 Horse of the Year Rainbow Blue to Winbak Stallion Quik Pulse Mindale.

“I currently have three two-year-olds by Quik Pulse Mindale and I like all three.  Quik Pulse himself was an impressive horse, and his shear speed alone sells me,” stated Teague.

Quik Pulse Mindale was a 2004 Season Leader for three-year-old colts and he equaled the World Record on a mile track.  He stands at Nandi Farm in Pennsylvania for Winbak Farm.

“We have been getting an increased number of breedings to Quik Pulse Mindale recently and we believe it is because of how well his two-year-olds are training down,” said Winbak General Manager Garrett Bell, “His horses stood out at the sales this year being big, handsome horses that looked the part, and so far they are living up to their potential.”

Quik Pulse Mindale sold his first crop of yearlings in 2009 and they will be taking the track this spring as two-year-olds.
