Winbak Farm sadly reports the passing of Political Briefing, 2, 1:58; 3, Q1:56.2 ($312,743). Political Briefing had stood at Winbak Farm of Delaware before retiring. He was euthanized due to lameness issues. 

 

At 2, Political Briefing won the Champlain Stakes, Harriman Cup and 2 New Jersey Sires Stakes divisions and Final. He was second in a Breeders Crown elimination, Campbellville Stakes, and Peter Haughton Memorial Final.

 

Political Briefing was a half-brother to Bluegrass Stakes Winner, Self Professed, 2, 1:56.2; 3, 1:54; 1:53 ($1,198,690).
