Winbak Farm Is The Leading Breeder In Delaware.
The Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund paid out over $3.6 million in purses and breeders bonus in 2023 and will pay out $4 million in 2024. Purses for finals were increased to $110K in 2023. Delaware remains unique in regional programs in that the program offers a $100,000 final at each track. There is only ONE starting fee per track.
There is also a $10,000 prize being drawn lottery style. One lucky mare owner of the 293 mares bred in 2024 will win this prize on the night of the Awards Banquet of the Delaware Standardbred Owner’s Association on January 17, 2025.
