Prospect Series Featured At Flamboro

Thursday, September 3, 2020  By: Standardbred Canada

Satdnite Jukebox and High Roller Duke captured their respective divisions of the Prospect Series for three-year-old pacing fillies during Thursday evening’s return to racing at Flamboro Downs.

Scott Coulter went down the road with Satdnite Jukebox, who pulled off the 11-1 upset in her $7,400 assignment. The daughter of Shadow Play-Jukebox Money set fractions of :27.2, :57.2 and 1:26 before scooting home in :29.2 to win by a neck over Watch My Speed in 1:55.2. Fast N Relentless was third.

Trainer Anthony Beaton co-owns the two-time winner with David Mercer of Sydney, NS. She’s banked over $10,000 this season and more than $30,000 to date.

High Roller Duke was a popular winner in the second division, and in winning she extended her winning streak to three-in-a-row for trainer Lacey McCabe.

Colin Kelly hustled the daughter of Bettors Delight-Mystique Beachbum to the lead and they never looked back after carving their way through panels of :28.2, :58.4 and 1:27.2. A :29.1 closing quarter sealed the deal for the 2-5 favourite who drew clear to win by a pair of lengths over Big Diamond. Southwind Bayou was third.

Glenview Livestock Ltd of Wallenstein, Ont. bred and owns the seven-time winner who has racked up six of those wins from just 11 starts this season. She’s put more than $32,000 on her card this year and close to $43,000 to date.
