Buck I St Pat denied Crown entry

Toronto, ON--With no eliminations required for the $600,000 Breeders Crown 2-year-old filly pace and $500,000 Breeders Crown Open pace, all entries will advance automatically to their respective finals.

The draw for both events took place this afternoon for the October 29 final at Woodbine Racetrack.

The fields will line up as follows:

$600,000 2YO Filly Pace

1) Mary Party – Dave Palone

2) Handsoffmycookie – Tim Tetrick – Winbak Graduate

3) Pirouette Hanover – Ron Pierce

4) Apogee Hanover – Scott Zeron

5) Economy Terror – Brian Sears

6) Shelliscape – Randy Waples – sired by Artiscape

7) Big Mcdeal – Jody Jamieson

8) Angel Scent – David Miller

9) Podges Lady – Yannick Gingras

$500,000 Open Pace

1) We Will See – Ron Pierce

2) Foiled Again – Yannick Gingras

3) Alexie Mattosie – Jody Jamieson

4) Mach Dreamer – Mark MacDonald

5) Bettor Sweet – John Campbell

6) Clear Vision – George Brennan

7) Dial Or Nodial – David Miller

8) One More Laugh – Tim Tetrick

9) Atochia – Brian Sears

10) Bigtime Ball – Paul MacDonell

11) Aracache Hanover – Doug McNair

With 11 entered for this year’s Breeders Crown Mare Trot, the connections of Buck I St Pat have launched an appeal as the bay mare was declared ineligible for this year’s $250,000 event.

After posting a break in the $83,700 Allerage Farm Open Mare Trot on Oct. 2 in Lexington, Ky., Buck I St Pat followed up that effort with another break in a qualifying session on Oct. 13 at Harrah's Chester.

Buck I St Pat, who would be the richest mare among her competitors with $2,347,565 in career earnings, is trained by Ron Burke for Howard Taylor, Edwin Gold, Abraham Basen and Ronald Fuller.
