Harrington, DE — Two-year-old pacing fillies competed in three $20,000 opening-round divisions of Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) stakes action at Harrington Raceway on Tuesday (Sept. 22).

Eli Beiler, Clint Crellin and Elam Esh’s Cinder’s Baby ($28.60, Art Stafford Jr.) upset at 13-1 in the first division in 1:59. The Rockabillie filly left alertly from post seven to take the lead and was a two-length winner over Tobago Tie and Seboomook Beauty. It was the first career start for Cinder’s Baby, and one of three wins on the card for Stafford, who also handles the filly’s training duties.

Jo Ann Looney-King’s Stealing Bases ($2.80, Victor Kirby) was a dominant 1:57.4 winner in the second division over Rowdy One and Uptown Lover. The Roddy’s Bags Again filly pressured leader Rowdy One near three-quarters before taking over and drawing clear of the field. It was the second career win for the Jim King Jr. trainee.

The final division went to Littlebagoftricks ($4.00, Russell Foster), who scored a dominant five-length win in 2:00 over Hey Hey Dbay and Rock’s Rose. The Roddy’s Bags Again filly controlled the tempo throughout and was full of pace to the finish in her debut for trainer Josh Green, who co-owns the filly with Charles Cochran III and Richard Lombardo.

Peter Paul Venturini’s She’s Pukka N ($3.80, Tony Morgan) won the $13,500 overnight feature in 1:52. The 5-year-old Betterthancheddar mare set sizzling fractions in her wire-to-wire victory.

Kirby and Allan Davis both had driving doubles.
