Ft. Washington, MD — Female equine and female trainers dominated on Wednesday night (Feb. 26) at Rosecroft Raceway and driver Roger Plante was a busy escort.

Plante won two races each for trainers Colby Hubble and Kerry Welty, and blew up the toteboard with 38-1 shot View Of The Land for Winbak Farm and trainer Eli Scott Jr.

Plante scored with trotter Gittin All Sexy, owned and trained by Hubble and Talk Show Chica, owned by Braden Racing.

Welty’s top trotter, What That Is, was enjoying some class relief and dominated in 1:56, returning just $2.80 as a heavy favorite. Welty’s 4-year old pacer Rockin The Shades ($3.40) also sought class relief and found a win in 1:55.1.

Plante’s five wins over shadowed a good night for Sean Bier who won a pair on the night. A Lady Sizzling ($2.60) dropped and popped for Green Valley Training and trainer Thomas Armour. Bier also won with Roll With Fred ($2.40) for Pamela Dortone in 1:55.3 on a track labeled good.

Brian Burton notched a pair of driving and training wins, scoring with Marshmallow Molly at 15-1 for Jason Burton and Final Escape ($3.20) who he also owns with Jason Burton.

Get Real Rusty won the $12,000 Mares Open feature with a backside brush for owner/trainer/driver Frank Milby in 1:52.4.
