Archangel gelding All Wrapped Up took command early and faced no challenge when posting a four-and-a-quarter length victory in the $19,000 featured trot at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Tuesday, Aug. 27.

Clearing from post 7, All Wrapped Up set a clip of :27.4, :57.2 and 1:25.3 while gradually widening his lead on pocket-sitter Cindy Lynn, who lost ground through the stretch. Blonde Magic sneaked past tiring horses to take second from race-favourite Union Forces, who moved first over from fifth past the half but stalled in his bid and settled for third. All Wrapped Up stopped the clock in 1:54.2.

 

Winning his fifth race from 12 starts this season and his eighth from 20 overall, All Wrapped Up has earned $128,713. Trainer Rob Fellows co-owns the $5.40 winner with Arpad Szabo, Blair Corbeil and Mike McAllister.
