hird, second-betting choice Lady Neigh Neigh brushed to the top passing three-quarters and coasted to a three-and-a-half length 1:53.1 victory to take the $75,000 Penny Bath Memorial Final on Sunday, March 31 at Fraser Downs.


Driver Brandon Campbell placed the three-year-old Bettors Delight filly behind early duelers Village Joules and The Blue Yak passing a :27.3 opening quarter. The Blue Yak cleared control heading to the half and kept the pace swift with Village Joules drafting from the pocket through a :55.4 split.


Campbell edged Lady Neigh Neigh off the rail in the backstretch and pulled a length ahead of The Blue Yak passing a 1:24.3 third quarter. Village Joules moved into second turning for home but had two lengths to recover on Lady Neigh Neigh's widening lead. She settled for second while Rockin Mystery, closing from eighth at the quarter, finished third six lengths back.


Owned by Chris Lambie and trainer Chris Lancaster, Lady Neigh Neigh remains undefeated in four starts this season while winning her seventh race from 12 overall, earning $75,158. She paid $6.00 to win.
