Ft. Washington, MD --- Frank Milby was master on the throttle Tuesday night (May 31) as Arpeggio Hanover ($11.00) scored a gate-to-wire victory in the $12,000 Open Handicap at Rosecroft Raceway.


Milby guided the 7-year-old altered son of Dragon Again through fractions of :27.1, :57, and 1:24.2 and finished the mile in 1:52.2. Concert Artist (Chris Offutt) was second and Jet Blue Miracle (Sean Bier) was third.


Russell Foster had three wins on the card, while Milby drove two.


Trainer Judy Welty had a pair of wins, one with trotter Third Coast and 3-year old pacing gelding Nah Jack, a son of Nuclear Breeze who is now two-for-two lifetime, winning in 1:53.3 for Roger Plante Jr.
