All nine starters in Tuesday’s ninth race at Hippodrome 3R have won a race or two in their last three starts, which could lead to plenty of action in the contest.

SOS Mach Xtreme has the honour of being the morning line favorite from Post 3 for driver Stephane Brosseau and trainer Francis Richard. Despite the six-year-old gelded son of Mach Three having finished off the board in his last start at Rideau Carlton Raceway, he has been strong in all his starts at 3R this year.

SOS Mach Xtreme has won two of his last three starts at 3R, the fastest a lifetime mark of 1:55.4 back on May 24 when he romped by nine open lengths for owners Guillaume Desrochers of Warwick, Michel Letarte of Boucherville and Jean Allaire of Montreal, QC.

OK Ebury heads into Tuesday on a two-race win streak since returning to 3R. He will start from the rail for driver Louis-Philippe Roy. My Buddy Mason (Post 4) and Glass Shadow (Post 9) also come off victories in their last start. Other contenders in the field include Sold Performance (Post 2), Bestofbest Hanover (Post 5) and Applie Pie Angel (Post 7).

The top trotters will do battle in Race 8. Two return winners head the field, but neither one of them is the morning line favourite.

That honour belongs to Pridecrest from Post 7 for owner/trainer/driver Guy Gagnon. The four-year-old gelding by Angus Hall will invade Hippodrome 3R from Rideau Carlton Raceway where he has been second in his last two starts; and back on May 22 he took his lifetime mark with a 1:56.4 triumph.

The other two return winners in the field are Jewels In The Sand (Post 5) for driver Sylvain Lacaille, who won at 3R last start in 2:00.4, and Out Of The Hat (Post 8) was victorious in 2:00 at 3R last week for trainer/driver Stephane Pouliot.
