Racing will return to Exhibition Park Raceway this Saturday, as a six-dash card is all set for the Saint John half-mile oval.

 

Dr. Mitch Downey will drive veteran pacer Fall Bliss from Post 5 in the final race of the afternoon, which carries a purse of $1,350. A winner of his last three races, Fall Bliss has been assigned the outermost post and will face four rivals.

 

City Of The Year, runner-up in the Walter Dale Memorial, will test his stablemate from Post 4. Mike Downey will pilot the four-year-old son of Royal Mattjesty. Momara, driven by New Brunswick's top driver of 2015, Ed Harvey, has drawn the coveted rail position. Other starters include Magical Alex and Coral Snake.

 

First-race post time on Saturday is 1:00 p.m. As always, free parking, free admission and simulcast on live racing available at all betting locations in New Brunswick.
