Post positions are set for Saturday's $300,140 Max Hempt Memorial at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, and world champion and Hempt elim winner Sheer Desire has drawn post eight in the field of nine. The race is the 10th on the Pocono card, with post time tentatively set for 3:33 pm.

 

Last fall at The Red Mile Sheer Desire won in 1:49.3, setting a world record for 2-year-old gelding pacers. The son of Real Desire is trained by the Burke Stable.
