attersalls Mixed Sale is underway at the Meadowlands with more than 200 horses passing through the sales ring so far, and arly in the sale Diamond Creek Farm’s Adam Bowden purchased A Starlet Born, a 5-year-old Muscles Yankee mare in foal to Cantab Hall for $150,000.

 

Bowden also bought Thong, a 4-year-old Western Hanover mare, for $100,000.

 

Other $100,000 buys included the Angus Hall mare Pinery, who was hammered down for $105,000 to the Steiner Stock Farm of Ohio and Ladycino, who went to Jeff Gillis of Ontario.

 

Stallion shares sold included one share of Art Major, which was sold to Carter Duer for $115,000, and one share of Credit Winner, which went to Bill Donovan for $185,000. Two shares of Cantab Hall were sold to Michael Parisi and Preferred Equine for $70,000 each, while shares of Donato Hanover went for $80,000 and $77,000 to Jeff Brooks and Peter Boyce, respectively.

 

Shares of Rocknroll Hanover sold for $75,000 and $76,000 with John Carver of Illinois purchasing both.
