Ft. Washington, MD --- Brian Malone's Fabulous Frieda held off a game Valentina De Vie (Henrik Lundell) to score in Rosecroft's Sunday night (March 13) $8,000 pace for mares.

 

Jonathan Roberts guided the 5-year-old daughter of track record holder Nuclear Breeze through fractions of :28.1, :56.4, and 1:26, winning by a nose in 1:55.3. Scoots West (Billy Carter) was third. It was Roberts' second win on the card.

 

Russell Foster scored three wins, while Jason Thompson won the first two legs of the Late Pick-3 wager for a driving double.

 

Racing action resumes Tuesday at 6:40 p.m., featuring the $12,000 Open Pace with Thompson and last week's winner Hot Art scoring from post eight.
