With 11 entered for this year’s Breeders Crown Mare Trot, the connections of Buck I St Pat have launched an appeal as the bay mare was declared ineligible for this year’s $250,000 event.

After posting a break in the $83,700 Allerage Farm Open Mare Trot on Oct. 2 in Lexington, Ky., Buck I St Pat followed up that effort with another break in a qualifying session on Oct. 13 at Harrah's Chester.

Buck I St Pat, who would be the richest mare among her competitors with $2,347,565 in career earnings, is trained by Ron Burke for Howard Taylor, Edwin Gold, Abraham Basen and Ronald Fuller.
