ach Holdup a success at Dover


Dover, DE --- Stagecoach Holdup proved a success in one of two $14,000 Thursday (Feb. 3) co-features at Dover Downs.


Driver Tim Curtin and trainer Eli Scott continued as a recent winning team when Stagecoach Holdup recorded his second straight victory in the first $14,000 pace with a 1:54.1 triumph.


Joe and JoAnn Thomson bred and own the altered son of JK Outlaw-Jennys Money, now two for three in 2011. Bergerac (Ron Pierce) played bridesmaid in the field of eight pacers with Mattgician (Tony Morgan) third.


In the second part of the co-feature, A Badlands Special and Ross Wolfenden stormed down the lane to notch a 1:54.3 victory. Kelly Moore and Kyle Walters own the Badlands Hanover-J’s Special gelding trained by Eddie Moore. Perfect Gentleman (George Dennis) closed with a rush to finish second. Elegance N Luck (Matt Kakaley) was the show horse.
