Lauren led from start to finish in the first elimination, winning in a time of 1:59 for owners Gordon and Claudia Wright of Charlotte, MI. The homebred daughter of Modern Art-One Cadet supplied fractions of :29.3, 1:00.3 and 1:30.1 before finishing off four foes with a :28.4 final frame. Lyons Puddin Pie was second best with Shipps Xanadu grabbing the show dough.

Sent off as the 1-2 favourite, Lauren picked up her fourth win of the season in just five attempts while pushing her cash stash to $43,000.

Bunkhouse Babe improved her record to 2-2-1 in five attempts thanks to a 1:57.1 triumph in the second elimination. The daughter of Royal Mattjesty-Bunker To Bunker wheeled the field through panels of :29.1, 1:00.1 and 1:28.2 before sprinting home in :28.4 for the 1:57.1 victory. Runner-up Village Janus, fresh off her win in the Battle of the Belles at Grand River Raceway, tasted defeat for the firs time in her career. Lyons Carrie rounded out the top three.
