Race 6 saw the Bill Companion-trained and Keith Oliver-driven Undercover Strike (Striking Sahbra--Under The Pines) leave from Post 8, go three-wide at the opening quarter, and eventually trot away to a two and three-quarter-length victory in 2:02.4. Bay filly Village Michelle (Rocknroll Hanover--Michelle Fantasy) took a rail-skimming trip in Race 8, as the William Windsor-trained and Steve Condren-driven lass repelled an advancer in the lane to win by two and a half lengths in 2:00.1 during what was her career charted debut.

Race 9 saw the Noreen Paulin-trained and Norm Dessurealt-driven gelding Full Force (Angus Hall--Bostonian Sue) put in a gate-to-wire performance from Post 6. The win time was 2:04, and the margin of victory was three and a quarter lengths.
