Concerns For Gambling Expansion In Delaware

According to an article in today’s edition of the
Delaware News, the State of Delaware's Sports and Video Lottery commission voted 5-4 to accept the gambling expansion study produced by TMG Consultants and release it to the General Assembly and the public, but did not endorse its findings.
One of the commission’s concerns was the potential damage that could be caused to the horse racing industry if two new gambling venues without horse racing were added in order to increase state revenues.
