>Dover, DE --- There is no disputing that Delmarvalous and Nitro Commando are the standouts of the $100,000 Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund colt and gelding finals after they posted impressive wins on Sunday, Dec. 6, at Dover Downs.

Corey Callahan rolled Delmarvalous out of outside post eight to get the early lead in :26.3 in the $100,000 final for pacers. This duo then continued to set a strong pace, reaching the half in: 54.3, and then opened up an even bigger advantage to the three-quarters in 1:23.2.

Delmarvalous was all alone at the finish line with a 1:53 clocking to annex the DSBF Final, his fifth win in a row and eighth win of the year in 11 starts. TheBadlands Hanover-Prymetyme Scootie colt has now banked $185,880 for owners Elmer Fannin, Badlands Racing and George Teague, Jr. Lucky Power (Ron Pierce) finished second, seven lengths behind the winner, while McMurray Hanover (David Miller) was third.

In the DSBF trotting colt finale, Nitro Commando, a Rod Allen homebred from the family's outstanding trotter CR Commando and CR Penny Lane, proved invincible in both his DSBF prelim wins and even more so in the final.

Allen took the brown colt right to the front in a :28.2 opening panel and then led the rest of the way, posting :59.1 to the half and a 1:29.2 three-quarters en route to an easy 2:01.2 victory. It was his fourth win of the season in six starts, with earnings of $110,000 for his first campaign. YMI Special was second rounding the final turn before breaking stride as Montabello Zeke and Jim Morand came on to finish second. Super Delegate got up for third for Eddie Moore.
