Angus Hall, a premiere trotting stallion at Winbak of Canada, continues to rack up important victories in Ontario stakes in $24,000 events at Georgian Downs, Ont. Make A Promise, Driftwood and Panz Kafka recorded victories in Ontario Sire Stakes Grassroots Series events. All three are sons of Angus Hall.

The first Angus Hall winner was public choice, Make A Promise, with Rick Zeron driving. Make A Promise took the lead past half-mile marker and went on for a neck victory in 1:57.3. Trainer Rob Fellows co-owns Make A Promise with Allison Jay, Philippe Leclerc, and John Yanevski.

Another Angus Hall win was posted by Driftwood, piloted by Mario Baillargeon, with a similar victory in 1:57.3 to win by 3-3/4 lengths. Trainer Jerry Duford, Joanne Wray, Lloyd and Barbara Tylee own Driftwood.

Brad Forward drove Panz Kafka to the front with a quarter-pole move to the lead on the way to a 1:57.1 triumph in the final Grassroots split. Peter Pan Stable, Inc. owns the homebred colt trained by Bob McIntosh.

Muscle Hill continues to top the Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown Top 10 list.
