Undefeated two-year-old trotting filly Its Not My Vault scored her third straight victory in the Prospect Series, lowering her mark to 1:59.1 in the Friday, Aug. 2 leg at Grand River Raceway.
Driver Colin Kelly made the winning move with the heavy 1-9 favourite in the $8,000 event for Ontario-sired freshman fillies after tracking the top trio through the first half and Its Not My Vault took command entering the final turn en route to the victory. Hadley finished second, narrowing the winner's margin to three-quarters of a length, while pacesetter Sweet Swirl followed in third.
Its Not My Vault followed up a pair of July victories in the Prospect Series at Grand River and Georgian Downs. Trainer Kim Baxter shares ownership of the perfect filly, who is sired by The Bank out of the Striking Sahbra mare Moms Apple Pie, with Coyote Wynd Farms.
