Top Of Her Trade (Bolt The Duer) proved Truro Raceway’s speediest mare on Friday (Jul. 12) as she won the quarter-mile showdown on the track’s Distance Day harness racing card.

She had rail advantage with Todd Trites in the bike and led by a half-length over The Yingyang (Keith Legge) on the turn with Oh Artleigh (Darren Crowe) with them three-wide. Top Of Her Trade had increased her advantage to a length by the top of the lane, and the mare had no trouble closing out from there. She crossed the line a length-and-a-quarter ahead of The Yingyang in :26.1. Im A Miracle (Greg Munro) was third.
