Dover, DE — At the March 22 meeting of the Delaware Standardbred Breeders’ Fund board, it was approved to increase all final purses for the 2023 racing year.

The finals will now race for $110,000 beginning with the Governor’s Day races at the Delaware State Fair on Thursday (July 27).

There are 104 eligible 3-year-olds.

Also to continue for the breeding season of 2023, any mare bred to a registered Delaware sire will be eligible for the $10,000 broodmare bonus drawing which will be held at the 2024 DSOA banquet.
