Washington, PA — The Meadows Standardbred Owners Association is pleased to announce that Winbak Farm has donated a breeding to Heston Blue Chip that will be offered via auction on the website onGait.com.

The auction will begin Thursday (March 16) at 8 a.m. and proceeds will benefit the MSOA’s Collegiate Scholarship Program.

Heston Blue Chip stands in Pennsylvania at Winbak Farm for a fee of $6,000.

He is the sire of Fulton, who won the PA Sire Stake Championship in 2022 and set a track record at The Meadows of 1:49.4.

The richest son of American IdealHeston Blue Chip took a mark of 1:48f as a 3-year-old, showing extreme speed on a five-eighths-mile track. He earned $1.78 million during his career, winning 34 races, and was the Dan Patch 3-year-old Colt Pacer of the Year in 2012, in a crop that included A Rocknroll Dance, Sweet Lou, Bettor’s Edge, Michael’s Power and Thinking Out Loud.

Rich Gillock, president of the MSOA, stated, “Heston Blue Chip has become a top-level sire in Pennsylvania, and we are very happy that Winbak Farm has donated this breeding. They have long been a strong supporter of our collegiate scholarship program and we are grateful to them.”

The auction ends on Saturday (March 18) at Noon (EDT).
