Feeling Sweet and driver Mike Cole were parked to the quarter and rolled on, setting fractions of :26.1, :55.1 (:29.) 123.2. (:28.1) Disturbed Hanover raced first-up past the half but stalled for her bid at the three-quarter pole. Moments Of Joy and driver Victor Kirby waited patiently in the pocket. They surged late into the passing lane and won by a neck in 1:52. She paid $5.40 as the public’s choice.

Moments Of Joy (Western Terror) is owned and trained by Bryan J. Truitt of Selbyville, Delaware. Victor Kirby drove a perfect race on the way to victory. Feeling Sweet cut out the race fractions and finished second for trainer Joe Columbo and driver Mike Cole.
