Littlebagoftricks

 

Rich Lombardo, Charles Cochran and Josh Green's Littlebagoftricks continued her dominance of Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) three-year-old pacing fillies Tuesday (June 22) with a 1:56 win in the second $20,000 leg of stakes action.


The Roddys Bags Again filly reeled in pacesetter Cinders Baby in the stretch for a two-length win, completing a sweep of her DSBF elims. Hey Hey Dbay was third. Trained by Josh Green, Littlebagoftricks has won 7-of-9 starts. Russell Foster drove the $2.20 winner.


In the remaining two DSBF divisions, Jo Ann Looney-King's Stealing Bases also completed a sweep of her divisions with a 1:57 win over Tobago Time and Rowdy One. The Roddys Bags Again filly controlled the tempo for trainer Jim King Jr. and earned her seventh win. Tim Tetrick steered the $2.40 winner.


The final DSBF split went to O'Marrow's Stock Farm, Rich Lombardo Racing and Josh Green's Seboomook Beauty who scored a three-length win in 1:59.4 over Believethismary and Its Turtle Time. Like the prior two DSBF winners, Seboomook Beauty was also sired by Roddys Bags Again and achieved her first win. Montrell Teague piloted the $2.80 winner.


Allan Davis, Montrell Teague, Russell Foster and Tony Morgan each had driving doubles.


Wednesday (June 23) will feature five divisions of DSBF three-year-old trotters going post ward in the second leg of stakes action. The $100,000 finals will be contested on July 29, during the Delaware State Fair.
