Vivid Photo, the winner of the 2005 Hambletonian, will be retired from racing Saturday, June 23, at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, the same night the track plays host to the Earl Beal Jr. Memorial Trot.

"The Beal Memorial is always a special night, and having Vivid Photo as a guest will just make it even more special,” said Sam Beegle, president of the PHHA. "We're very pleased that Roger Hammer and Todd Schadel chose to make his retirement official at this track and on this night.”

Bred by Winbak Farm, Vivid Photo cost $30,000 as a yearling and has earned $3,273,387 for Hammer and Schadel. The son of SJ's Photo-Miss Garland has been trained by Hammer during his entire career.

Vivid Photo has made eight starts this season, with his last on May 30 at Pocono Downs. He has a career slate of 178-49-30-20 and a lifetime mark of 1:50.2, taken at Colonial Downs when he won the Patriot Invitational Trot.
